Dear Probir,
Thanks a lot for this mail on 'origin of Jharkhandi and northern languages'.So far my knowledge goes 'Monipuri' was also a 'National Language'.
Regarding Santali Language I would like to add to yours that Santali was more older than the Sanscrit.It was even older than the Hibrew.But the 'Ol Chiki'(Script invented by Pundit Raghunath Murmu and being used for writing Santali language was the latest recognised script in India.
