No one can defend witch hunting in any way.. and i appreciate your
magnanimity in accepting this fact..

Personally, i believe, that historic incidents should be discussed as
it is and should not be used for allegations, caricaturing and for
character assasinating..

how far the caste system has been distorted and manipulated to make it as one of the most evil things in the world,
while in reality, it was NOT..

Please remember, how even raju charles, portrayed devadasi community,
in ultimate negative form, rather than discussing facts as it is..

While devadasi system cannot be revoked, its really worthwhile to
understand why devadasi community was denigrated..

In many of the earlier discussions, one of the members, even pointed
that if NOT for christians, indians would have been living in
jungles..

Next, witch hunting is result of many factors, the most of which are
due to the concept of heresy..If we are really serious in correcting ourselves, then its ultimate to review the history in neutral perspective, and reform ourselves, to have a better and peaceful future..

To quote one example, the act of New life organisation in Bangalore,
which had portrayed hindu gods as prostitutes and satans.. a thing
that happened in 21st century, by the supposedly educated persons..

Such things can be avoided, if we could understand the underlying
reasons of the past historical incidents like witch hunts,
inquisitions, instead of merely stating and accepting the facts..
